Detailed Data Protection Information

1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

Your data will be processed by ALUMNE. You can consult all our information and how to contact us in our Legal Notice.

2. How will we process your data?

We guarantee professional secrecy and the utmost confidentiality of your personal data, complying with all obligations in this regard and adopting the security measures imposed by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation and the Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights.

3. For what purpose are your personal data processed?

‘User registration’. On our website, you can find a form where you are asked for the necessary information to register as a user of ALUMNE LMS. We request this data from our users solely for the purpose of managing the commercial relationship: participating in our online platform. Remember that when you post comments or reviews on our website, your data may be viewed by other ALUMNE users.

‘Purchase management’. On our website, when making a purchase, if you are a registered user, you can find a form where you are asked for the necessary information for the sale and invoicing of our systems (credit card data, email, name, surname, address, city, country, region, postal code, phone…). These personal data are requested from customers for the purpose of carrying out the sale and managing the commercial relationship. This only occurs in cases where the training you access has a cost.

‘Sending commercial information’. Your data may be processed for commercial purposes to keep you informed of new courses available and exclusive promotions related to ALUMNE. We will ask for your consent when you sign up for our Newsletter or register as a user. In no case does this imply the mass sending of ALUMNE advertisements.

‘Sending relevant information for professionals’. Your data may be processed to send you relevant information about the sector, learning technology, the various free options available in the market, and other interesting information. This is done through our NON-COMMERCIAL newsletter that we send once a month. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click. In no case does it involve the mass sending of advertising from ALUMNE.

‘Contact’. On our website, you can find a contact form through which we collect your personal information (name, email, phone, and message). We will only use this data to handle contact requests from potential customers, collaborators, website visitors, and other third parties.

If later on, ALUMNE intends to use your data for a different purpose, we will provide any relevant additional information.

4. What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The processing of personal data of ALUMNE users is necessary for the execution of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the application of pre-contractual measures at their request.

The sending of commercial information that we may carry out is legally based on the consent given by each user when subscribing to our Newsletter or registering as a user; or on the satisfaction of legitimate interests pursued by ALUMNE, provided that such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms. In any case, you can always object to this processing free of charge and easily each time we send you a message. We will always ensure the protection of your data and act proportionately in the right to privacy of individuals.

The processing of personal data of ALUMNE contacts is carried out only when someone sends us an inquiry and the processing of the data will be necessary to facilitate the response.

5. How long will we retain your data?

The personal data provided by ALUMNE users will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine any possible liabilities that may arise from that purpose and the processing of the data, unless you request their deletion or object to the processing beforehand.

The personal data provided to ALUMNE by other contacts will be retained for the time necessary to process and respond to the inquiry.

6. To whom will we disclose your data?

Your personal data will not be disclosed to any third-party company.

In the case of personal data required to carry out a purchase, your information may be communicated, if necessary, to the Tax Agency and other Public Administrations, under the terms established in the current regulations, solely if such data communication is necessary and/or in compliance with legal obligations.

7. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Right to request access to personal data: you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether ALUMNE is processing personal data concerning you and, if so, the right to access the personal data.

Right to rectification, deletion, and erasure: you also have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, if applicable, request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

Right to restriction of processing: under certain circumstances, you may also request the restriction of the processing of your data, in which case they will only be retained for the exercise or defense of claims.

Right to data portability: you have the right to have ALUMNE send your data to another organization whenever you request it.

Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data. At ALUMNE, we will stop processing your data, except for legitimate compelling reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims. We remind you that you can object at any time to the processing of your data for commercial purposes.

Right to withdraw consent: since the processing of certain data by ALUMNE is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time and terminate such processing.

To exercise any of these rights, you only need to write to us at the email address info@alumn-e.com and we will process your request. If you believe that we have not fulfilled the exercise of your rights, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.agpd.es.
